Expo Day
WEDNESDAY - AUGUST 7th, 2024:
7:00 AM - Doors open for Exhibitors.
8:00 AM - Doors open for registration.
8:30 AM - Showfloor doors open to public.
9:00 AM-10:00 AM - Presentation rooms in session.
10:30 AM-11:30 AM - Presentation rooms in session.
12:00 AM-1:00 PM - Presentation rooms in session.
11:30 AM-1:00 PM - Box Lunches will be delivered to exhibitor booths. Lunches are ordered in advance and each exhibitor has the option to select the meal they would like.
1:30 PM-2:30 PM - Presentation rooms in session.
3:45 PM - Doors close for attendees (attendees may be at the show until it closes at 4:00 PM).
4:00 PM - Show closes for the day and all attendees must leave the showfloor at this time.
5:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Metalworking Hall Exhibitor Party (ticketed off-site event)
*REMINDER* The show will have security stationed in the room overnight but we recommend you bring sheets to cover demos. MAKE SURE you insure your products for lost, thief, or damage as the AME is not responsible for this. The DeVos Place also have explicit rules that bar them from any responsibility.
THURSDAY - AUGUST, 8th 2024:
7:00 AM - Doors open for Exhibitors.

8:30 AM - Showfloor doors open to public.

2:45 PM - Doors close for attendees (attendees may be at the show until it closes at 3:00 PM).
3:00 PM - Show closes for 2023 and teardown begins.
Food and Beverage policy
Generally speaking outside food and beverage is not permitted. This primarily refers to large or shareable quantities intended to share with the general public. Most individual meals are okay. There will be multiple cash concession stands open. Concessions will be open from 7:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Wednesday and 7:00 AM until 2:30 PM on Thursday. We will also have several water stations throughout the venue.
As an Exhibitor you do have the option to order Box Lunches for your staff. This can be done during registration as well as via your Exhibitor Profile once you have registered. Lunches are not automatically included. They are made to order (catered) as such, extras will not be available so please plan accordingly. Downtown Grand Rapids does have a great selection of local restaurants and we encourage you to take a look.
To further assist here are some examples of what is allowed verses what is not:

Here are some other commonly asked about items that are NOT permitted for distribution to attendees: case of water, cases of soda, ordering outside pizza, ordering delivery for more than an individual, box of doughnuts, case of muffins, and other commonly shared items or items of bulk. Alcohol of any kind, must be provided and served by the venue (pg24-25) (no exceptions).
If you are in violation of the venue's policy you may be asked to dispose of it. If an exhibitor is a repeat offender they may be asked to leave the show.
