Exhibitor parking

The Advanced Manufacture Expo does not cover exhibitor parking. However, there are ways to save on paring fees during set-up and tear-down hours.

During Expo Hours

Downtown Grand Rapids has many options but nearly will not be free. Here is a map highlighting a couple parking options including directly under the venue (DeVos Place).

The yellow circles indicate City Parking Ramps you may utilize. The dot on Michigan St. and Lyon St. access the parking structure under the show venue, the remaining dot is for a parking ramp directly across the street from the venue.

SETUP & TEAR DOWN PARKING

The venue affords each exhibitor that is utilizing the parking structure under the DeVos Place two hour parking vouchers during set up and tear down. Exhibitor that are loading and unloading items from their vehicles are encouraged to utilize this free service. There is a freight elevator that is accessible from the parking lot, Row K. Looking at the map below it is all the way to the right or the north end of the parking garage. The Freight Elevator is located along the north wall. After you have completed your loading and/or unloading there will be a security guard station at the elevator and they will provide you with the pass to exit the parking structure free of charge. Freight Elevator will only be operational during Setup and Tear Down hours. This is also the only place to pick up the two hour exhibitor parking vouchers.

What about oversized vehicles that won’t fit in a parking ramp or vehicles with trailers?

After you unload your materials, as early as July 27th, the DeVos Place staff working the bay doors on Michigan Avenue will give you this map and the permit to park your vehicle on Scribner as the map show. Only oversized vehicles that will not fit in city parking ramps will qualify for this street parting permit.
