Purpose

This course covers the requirements, methods, and solutions used to protect people who come into contact with dangerous machines in the industrial environment.  Safety devices must be able to consistently and reliably bring a machine hazard to an orderly stop. Attendees will be trained in the Risk Assessment Process that is used to identify hazards through each phase of the machine’s life cycle and to minimize dangers to personnel and equipment.

Who Should Attend

For those who select and install safety light screens, safety controllers, emergency stop push buttons, two hand controls, and safety lasers.  This provides theory plus application, and installation skills to meet safety standards and select the correct equipment.
